Alice in Wonderland Tea Party, ages 4-11

Sunday, January 29

2:00-3:00pm

Enjoy an afternoon tea with refreshments, a craft and a very special guest… “Curiouser and curiouser”.

Everyone is encouraged to dress in “fancy clothes”. Registration has begun so call the library to reserve your spot….  “If you don’t care for tea, you could at least make polite conversation!”

Camera Workshops

Wayne Rhodus, nature and publication photographer, will be offering a series of camera workshops here at the library.  The workshops will cover a range of techniques and help you become the photographer you want to be.

All classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Each class is $10 and you must register for each class separately.

IMPORTANT: Please bring your digital camera and camera’s User Manual to each class you attend. Thank you!

Bill Ouseley – True Crime Author to Speak

William Ouseley retired as Supervisor of the Organized Crime Squad of Kansas City after a 25 year career with the FBI. He has written two books about organized crime in Kansas City, Open City and Mobsters in our Midst.  Mr. Ouseley is a great speaker with a fascinating subject.
Come hear about the bad side of Kansas City.

Knitting

Susan Weston will again offer her ever-so-popular knitting class starting in February.  So, for the “I’m all thumbs” beginner or the advanced student,  join us here at the library!

Wednesday evenings, February 1st-March 7th,  6:00-7:30 p.m.

Class fee is $1 per Wednesday.  You don’t need yarn, but please bring knitting needles.
