The Library Board consists of seven members elected at the annual meeting by the qualified voters of the library district. Each member serves a four-year term and during those four years they act as ambassadors, promoting the library and its services; they set policy as needed; they prepare and carry out an annual budget; they hire the library director; and they keep abreast of library legislation. This year, Board members have worked hard to determine if our services are meeting the needs of the community.
The Board is a group of individuals dedicated to ensuring that our community provides the finest library services possible.
The Library Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm.
